About......Owen & Sherri Reaves
Owen grew up traveling and singing for the Lord with his family. His parents were a part of a gospel singing group known as the Gospel Echoes. The Gospel Echoes traveled around the country, ministering in music and The Word for nearly 20 years. As he grew up, he sang in the choir at the church, and then gradually started singing solos and duets.
Sherri started singing in Junior High School as part of choir at her school. In her senior year of High School, she was selected as part of a special choir that traveled in the local area.
In April of 1986 Owen and Sherri were married in Norwalk, California.

About......In His Presence
The Lord brought us to Kingman, Arizona in March of 1988. The Lord placed us in a small church at first, where He matured our talents. He moved us to Kingman First Assembly of God in 1990, where we had the opportunity to be on the worship team, and be in several productions.
In 2009 the Lord brought us to Tucson, AZ where we settled in the small community of Catalina and attended Mountain View Assembly of God. In the latter part of 2010 we moved to Vail, AZ (outside of Tucson on the south side) to be closer to Owen's work. We are now attending Victory Worship Center and are looking forward to what the Lord is going to continue to do in our lives there.
Several years ago the Lord called us to go out to other churches and minister in music. The Lord has given us the desire to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through music and testimony. Unlike the unwise servant, we do not want to bury our talents. We feel that the Lord has blessed us with the talent to worship Him in music, and it is our desire to multiply our talents by reinvesting them into the kingdom of God.
We have chosen to call ourselves "In His Presence" because we have learned through being on the worship team that our "place" as worship leaders is to lead the congregation into "His Presence" through worship and praise.
The Lord has opened many doors for us to go and minister in music since we stepped out in this ministry in 1997. He has also given us the opportunity to record three projects during this time. This has allowed us to have cassettes and CD's available to minister to others.
We want to go wherever He wants us to go, and be willing to do, sing, or say whatever the Lord would want us to. We just want to be sensitive to the Lord's will for our lives and our ministry. We are looking forward to being able to continue to be used of the Lord and lead others into "His Presence".
Through the last few years, the Lord has been teaching us what it really means to trust Him. He has also been teaching us the power through prayer and fasting that we have, as His children, over Satan. We are still learning daily to put ALL our trust in Him.
We would be honored to minister at your church in music. We are venturing out into this ministry by faith and therefore do not ask for any set monetary compensation, but will accept a love offering if the Lord so directs you.
